Founded and led by Joanie Hester, Laboratory Director, MVPS was built on a simple mission: to make laboratory testing easier, more comfortable, and more accessible for everyone. We understand that medical testing can be stressful, especially for children, seniors, and individuals with special needs. That is why we take extra time, patience, and care with every patient we serve.
MVPS specializes in working with individuals with special needs and those who require a gentle, understanding approach. Our team is trained to provide calm, supportive, and professional care in environments where patients feel most comfortable—whether that is at home, at school, at work, or in a care facility.
We provide a full range of mobile specimen collection services, including Blood Draws, urine collections, specialty testing kits, DNA and paternity testing, employer wellness screenings, and Therapeutic Phlebotomy. We also support nursing and rehabilitation facilities with morning laboratory rounds and partner with diagnostic laboratories to ensure fast, secure specimen transport.

When we arrive at your home, office or facility, you can expect to be greeted by a friendly face and don’t worry your phlebotomist is not in any hurry, we are there for you! Our patients can also expect some friendly conversation while your phlebotomist is getting prepared for your blood draw. I know this is the hard part, but by this time we have come to know a little bit about our patient, and they know a little bit about their phlebotomist, and everyone is, for the most part, pretty comfortable. And just like that it's over and your labs have been collected and your new friend (your phlebotomist) will take the samples to the lab for processing and testing.
